The four Congresswomen who were the target of a racist social media attack at the hands of President Trump held a press conference on Monday to respond to his unhinged rant.

Ilhan Omar of Minnesota, Ayanna Pressley of Massachusetts, Rashida Tlaib of Michigan and Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez did not mince their words when it came to condemning Trump.

"This is the agenda of white nationalists, whether it is happening in chat rooms or happening in national TV. And now it's reached the White House garden," Omar said of Trump's "blatantly racist attack."

Ocasio-Cortez stated that "This president operates in complete bad faith," and that "he does not know how to defend his policies, so instead he attacks us personally. That's what this is all about"

"We don't leave the things we love," Ocasio-Cortez said, and "we love all people in this country."

Pressley demanded people not be distracted considering the other issues, like the detention of immigrants on the border, saying, "Do not take the bait. This is simply a disruption and a distraction from the callous, chaotic and corrupt culture of this administration… This is a disruptive distraction from the issues of care, concern, and consequence to the American people that we were sent here with a decisive mandate from our constituents to work on."

She included, "Our squad is big," meaning, the "squad" is everyone who is against his racist rhetoric.

Pressley says we should not be distracted from important issues:

"Do not take the bait. This is simply a disruption and a distraction from the callous, chaotic and corrupt culture of this administration… This is a disruptive distraction from the issues of care, concern, and consequence to the American people that we were sent here with a decisive mandate from our constituents to work on."

Adding that "Our squad is big," meaning, the "squad" is everyone who is against his racist rhetoric.
