The man who was responsible for the mall shooting which ended in police gunning down Emantic Bradford Jr. has finally been arrested.

According to the New York Post, Erron Martez Dequan Brown was charged with attempted murder for allegedly firing the two bullets that struck an 18-year-old in the Riverchase Galleria in Hoover on Thanksgiving.

Marshals arrested Brown on Thursday at a relative’s home outside Atlanta after receiving a tip off. Brown is currently being held in Fulton County Jail awaiting extradition to Alabama. The Hoover Sun reports that his bail is to be set at $150,000.

Authorities are yet to release surveillance or body cam footage to shed light on exactly led up to Bradford being shot and killed.

Hoover Police Department released the below statement earlier this week:

"We extend sympathy to the family of Emantic J. Bradford of Hueytown, who was shot and killed during Hoover Police efforts to secure the scene in the seconds following the original altercation and shooting," a joint statement from the city and police department said.

"We can say with certainty Mr. Bradford brandished a gun during the seconds following the gunshots, which instantly heightened the sense of threat to approaching police officers responding to the chaotic scene."
