A Black man had the police called on him after he was overheard reciting a famous Jay Z lyric.

Davon Eddington told TMZ that he was in his backyard last week in Spring Hill, Tennessee drinking a beer and talking to his brother on the phone about LeBron James and the Lakers after a long day at work.

During the lively conversation, Davon's brother called him a bandwagon Lakers fan ... to which Davon allegedly replied, "I got 99 problems, but a b*tch ain't one."

A nosy neighbor heard Davon's words and interpreted the conversation to mean that Davon had beaten his fiancee, who was upstairs taking a bath and dialed 9-1-1.

“I walked around to the front of my house, and that was when I was met with police with guns drawn,” he told TMZ. “Another officer came around and said, ‘No, no, no. This is not happening. We kind of heard the conversation, and he’s been on the phone the whole time.”

Police swiftly apologized and informed Davon that he had been "swatted."

Davon also told TMZ that his dog went missing last week and was found in is neighbors back garden.

When asked why his neighbor would do this, Davon stated that perhaps his neighbor "does not want me in the neighborhood."
