The audio of Amber Guyger's 911 call made after she gunned down Jean Botham in is own apartment.

During the 911 call, Guyger claimed that she shot him accidentally thinking that he had entered her apartment. She was concerned with losing her job on the call to the 911 operator.

Guyger: I’m Amber Guyger. I need, get me. I’m in.

Operator: OK we have help on the way.

Guyger: I know but I’m, I’m going to lose my job. I thought it was my apartment.

Operator: OK.

Guyger, 30, claimed that she was off duty but still in uniform Sept. 6 when she shot and killed Jean in his apartment in the Cedars. Jean was watching football on his couch when Guyger entered his apartment.

Jean's mother spoke to The Dallas Morning News on Tuesday after the call was released, and believes more than ever that he son's murder was intentional.

“The call made me strengthen my view that Amber Guyger is a cold-blooded killer because she was more concerned about losing her job than my son, the value of my son,” Allison Jean said. “She does not sound like she was trying to help him at all.”

In the call, Guyger repeatedly talks about losing her job. That appears to be the main concern rather than trying to save the life of Jean.

Jean's mother told WFAA that Guyger never mentions Jean being a burglar in the call, and gave no explanation as to why she shot him.

"She said nothing to suggest that he was a threat to her," Jean said. "She said nothing to suggest that he was armed, that she sought to disarm him, or he rushed at her or he charged at her."
